SureXend Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: August 25, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and SureXend when you create a wallet or use any of our services. Please read them — they explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts. You must complete our identity verification (KYC) before you can send, convert, pay bills or withdraw. Providing false information is grounds for immediate suspension.
2. Your wallet
Your SureXend wallet holds USDC (a USD stablecoin) and, after conversion, local-currency balances. You are responsible for keeping your PIN, biometrics and device secure. Transactions confirmed with your PIN or biometrics are authorised by you — so protect them like cash.
Blockchain transfers are irreversible. Once a transfer is broadcast on-chain it cannot be reversed, and sending to a wrong address or on a wrong network may mean permanent loss. Always verify the address and network, and use a small test amount first.
3. The services
SureXend provides:
- •USDC deposits on supported networks.
- •Conversion between USDC and supported local currencies at the live rate shown before you confirm.
- •Bill payments — airtime, data, electricity, TV and other services offered in the app.
- •Withdrawals to supported banks and mobile-money providers.
4. Fees and rates
Every conversion shows the exact rate and any fee before you confirm — there are no hidden charges. Network fees for blockchain transfers are set by the networks, not by us. Operator prices for airtime, data and bills are set by those providers.
5. Prohibited use
You may not use SureXend for:
- •Fraud, theft, or unauthorised use of another person’s funds or identity.
- •Money laundering, terrorist financing, or evading sanctions.
- •Gambling, Ponzi or high-yield investment schemes, or other illegal trade.
- •Any activity prohibited by the laws of Nigeria or your jurisdiction.
6. Suspension and closure
We may pause or suspend your account if we detect fraud, sanctioned activity, a legal order, or a serious security risk. Where the law allows, we will tell you why. You may close your account at any time after settling pending transactions; required records stay archived as the law demands.
7. Risk disclosure
Stablecoins are designed to hold their peg but are not risk-free: issuer failure, depegging or regulatory change can affect value. Balances are NOT bank deposits and are NOT covered by deposit insurance. Only hold what you can afford to lose and keep your security credentials private.
8. Liability
We provide the service "as is" and work hard to keep it available and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the transaction that gave rise to it. We are not liable for losses caused by your share of security credentials, wrong addresses/networks, or events beyond our reasonable control.
9. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms and will announce significant changes in-app before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Questions: support@surexend.com.
